The new TM-1 is a compact multi-functional spectral transmittance meter that provides precise measurement of UVA, UVB, and visible light transmission for all types of lens materials. It is designed to easily connect with a personal computer or a Topcon computerized lensmeter.

The TM-1 provides a simple way for the consumer to understand the differences between multi-coated and UV protected sunglasses. A high-tech graphical display helps explain the benefits of UV protection to the eyeglass purchaser. The chromaticity measurement function shows the colour coding for any type of lens and displays the reading as a graphical colour map.
